OUR ROOTS

We are all compelled to move by our inner desires for a better existence. Our parents embarked on a journey from their homeland of Nigeria in search of a better life for themselves and their children.

Our journey to make it in America was met with adversity and we lost two siblings along the way. The |||| bars of the Merin Kind brand represent the two siblings remaining and the two that are with us in spirit. Through all this loss we have realized the importance of holistic health and living every day to the fullest.

 Ekun wa dayo – Our sorrow turns to joy. This Yoruba phrase exemplifies how we rose – diverse, restored, resilient, and emboldened to create and express ourselves through our roots to Africa.
